Pomodoro Clock

Do you find yourself regularly procrastinating your most important tasks?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management system created by Francesco Cirillo. It is a great method that you can use to overcome your procrastination / resistance and get things done. Breaking up your tasks into smaller more manageable chunks will allow you to work more effectively and productively.

Conquer time or time will conquer you

Choose a task you want to get done and set the timer for how long you estimate that task will take. This counts as a single "Pomodoro"

Note: Traditional Pomodoros are 25 minutes long and allow you to break your tasks into more manageable chunks

  1. Set your first Pomodoro
  2. Focus and work solely on that task until the timer runs out
  3. After timer completion, put a checkmark on your to-do list
  4. Take a short break (typically 5 minutes)
  5. Keep working on your tasks until you've done four Pomodoros
  6. After four Pomodoros, take a longer break (typically 10 minutes)
  7. Repeat step 1 until all of your tasks are done
  8. Kick back and relax!
